fecks sake what's wrong with it!?

the only feedback you can now leave as a buyer is:

'how accurate was the item description' - for my purposes as someone who mainly buys/sells video games, dvds and the like, this is fairly useless as it's either in good nick or its broken

'how satisfied were you with the communications' - most people dont bother to communicate and as long as they send the item out in good time then this is a moot point

'how reasonable were the P&P charges?' - seeing as youre not allowed to charge any P&P and it has to be free, what's the frigging point of this one??

the only one i used to find useful was when you could mark out of 5 how quickly the item arrived - if something took a while to arrive then i could still leave positive feedback but give them, say, 3 stars out of 5 for speed of posting (postal strikes permitting) - and now this one's gone!

it just seems that ebay is deliberately going down the road of being crap, i wonder what sort of users theyre trying to get rid of...

Like with most things i think you end up with a group of fairly stupid people who think something out without taking a step back and looking at it as a whole. Can't see the wood for the tree's as it were

I think people just cannot be bothered anymore....

.....what gets me most is if you're the buyer and you make payment immediately; you have fulfilled your part of the transaction. Yet in virtually all cases the seller will only leave you feedback once you have left it for them first:xxx:

IMO each party to the transaction should leave their feedback once the other person has done what they are supposed to. So seller should leave FB unpon receipt of money; and buyer on receipt of goods. Simples!

None of this "I'll leave FB for you once you have done it for me" nonsense. I reckon the ebay community are now, in the main, a bunch of small minded ignorant pikeys:tongue:

Thing is there Richard altho i 100% agree with you in makes no odds when the seller leaves it as Ebay has restricted sellers to only leaving positive feedback. So essentially a buyer can fvck a seller about as much as they want and the seller can't say anything bad about them! What the hell is that all about, i even remember posting a thread when ebay brought that rule in!

Its all a bunch of crap! Both parties should be able to give an accurate and detailed description of the transaction.
