Trying to fit new heater matrix now, the black electronic control box with 4 plugs in i cant get out .Ive unscrewed the 2 lower screws but cant even see any top screws .iITS a manual do i need to take the clutch pedal out its a nightmare job thanks.

What a job finished for today still havent got matrix out cant undo the 8mm bolt[screw] inbetween the 2 pipes where they go through the fire wall .Got clutch pedal out now as well . was thinking about tuging the pipes and trying to break the screw i can feel it but cant undo it .Im picking a new matrix up from nissans tommorow not sure if it comes with these pipes or not any help please thanks.

hi, it should come with the pipes, don`t tug n break anything cos you`ll bugger the box! the screw is a nightmare to get to, use a socket or ratchet spanner, it`ll have been there 15 years or so, take your time, it`s only a little one 8mm. As you found out remove the pedal, i would remove the booster too makes access to bolts etc so much easier. Good luck
