does look nice, but its either a jap car with a uk rear bumper or a uk car with a jap front bumper, dont bid unless you can view

I'd say it was a JDM car. It has JDM coloured tweed, as Allan says, the fascia is JDM, so is the nose panel, so are the rear wheels and the windows look like they have a bronze tint to them.

cheers peeps, thought it best to wait till I have more to to search one out, this does look perfect for me though and am sure it's an import. As for know ing what to look for I have no idea, may be as well buying from another member methinks...

What's your budget? Please don't say £1500. lol

Well yeah £1500 would be cool haha, all depends on the car I guess, was looking for a cheapy as a 1st car as I may not keep long as my garage isn't big enough. So a nice SWB would be good, needs to be manual and as unmodded as possible. Although I may have another garage I can use. Anyway ramblings over, maybe £3000, could stretch to more for the right car, do you have something in mind?...

You should be able to get a reasonably tidy stock 2+2 TT manual for that. You're pushing the budget a bit if you want a decent SWB TT Manual. There are a few decent 2+2s in the for sale section on here, but you need to be a subscriber to view.

Cool, well I have to get this other garage measured, then I know where I stand. A SWB will only just fit in mine, then save up some more, subscribe and keep an eye out early next year, thanks for all the help...

No quite true Si....

........Unsubbed members are allowed to view the for sale threads and buy if they want! Pistol Pete was not subbed when he replied to my thread and bought my car back in the summer;)

Richard:)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Isn't J reg 91/92?...

think its 89/90, not sure now?? lol I bought an '89 JDM and that was a J.

No I'm being a tw@t mine was a G!!! Sorry, you're right! must be the beer! lol

I happened to go and see this car today, cant say its in the best of condition. Looks like its seen a few accidents :s the doors dont line up very nicely.... and the boot lid seems a bit to short if that makes sense? It doesnt quite line up with the back lights.. and the prices its listed for at the garage is £2995 not 1500

hope that helps a bit

If you bid and buy on ebay at that price then its sold to you regardless of what they have it priced at in there garage.
