Basic Differences between S1, S2, S3 and S4

Me Again!!

 

There may well be a thread on here about this already but I really can't find it!

 

Can anyone explain the fundemental differences between an S1 S2 S3 and S4 z32 TT LWB and can anyone tell me how I can identify which one I have (92 on a J plate if that is a help)

 

I keep seeing cars being broken for parts and never know if they will fit mine or not so this simple piece of info could save me a flippin fortune!!

    i think the s - series 1-4 is based on the year and body type, mines a 1996 which i think is a s2 but to be fair i dont know either , so great thread
