Hi, can anyone recommend a garage near Middlesbrough that I can take my car to get the knocking suspension sorted before something else goes wrong?

I've given the arb links a spray with ptfe last night and it's made no difference, and I really have no idea what i'm looking for to check anything else.

Cheers,

Brian

i bet its your front tension arms bud (it was on mine!)....if they are stock replace them with adjustable types...when they flex they clunk even brand new stock ones can do this...sounds really disturbing too...good news is its an easy job to fit new ones....easier with airgun though :D

link to the ones i think are causing the clunk

if in doubt / before you part with money etc speak to luke at the zed centre, he's a top man for z32 stuff and should be able to advise on all sorts of clunks squeaks etc etc

cheers

Cheers, I'll have another look at them tonight. I'll try getting the car on the ramps and reproducing the noise.

I should have been clearer earlier, the sound is more of a creak rather than a clunk - don't know if this makes a difference? I'll see if I can get a sound file on the drive home from work.
