As above 10w/40 is fine, just make sure you get the nissan filter or possibly a wix branded one

there have also been some excellent oil related posts in the past from oilman

Search is the way forward to answer this question, its been asked many times.

I personally use Mobil1 0-40.

Wise words from my buddy Isaac:bow:

Nissan recommended a 10w40 semi-synth but now that decent fully synthetics are freely (and quite cheaply) available why not go for the ultimate protection for those turbos?

Plus a fully synth won't need changing quite so often - I use any premuim brand 5w40 fully synthetic (usually Shell Helix Ultra to collect the "plus-points";)). I have it changed annually or after 5-6k miles!

But any similar grade by Mobil/Castrol/Millers etc etc will be just grand!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

It's always good to search. :) I think this subject has been covered more times than WMD in Iraq. hehe ;)
