Hi, I posted some help out last month regarding a strange buzzing sound underneath my car. I had a few responces but nothing really pin pointed the problem, I have this morning been under my car and found where the noise is coming from. It is central of the car where the gear shift goes up into the car. the noise is only there when the ignition is switched on and engine is off!! it is deffo electrical and sounds like a fridge??? Do soloniods buzz?? The noise is quite loud.

Hope someone can help ;)

Thanks

Well you did wanna borrow it Daz!

Another free bump for ya, you big queer :p

Ive got it as well ignition on, and it comes from mid front area. I always thought it was my autobox. Anyway ive never had any running issues.

can you hear the sound from inside the car? Im thinking maybe it might be the lock sol on the gear selector, the one that holds it in park till you put your foot on the brake to release it??
