You wont need to take the dash out, you just need to be a 2 foot midget and get on your back upside down with 3 foot arms:rofl:

Best give JeffTT a quick call tommorrow, they do loads of conversions and im sure he can give you some tips.

Going to be doing this myself soon, so if you get it sorted, let us now :D

Cheers

Graham

I just removed mine as part of the manual conversion. I found it easiest to lie on my back, leg draped out the door and looked up the way towards the pedal.

I used a 1/2" drive ratchet, 12" extension and a flexible joint and the appropriate socket.

Took alot of maneouvering to get the pedal to come out.

My seat was still there and i cant remember if i had removed the steering rack at that point

Yeah thats what i had been doing but theres a large clump of cable up there not allowing me to get the top of the pedal into place to bolt it up. No matter what i done i just could not get it past that bloody cable! :wack:

i did two,

one sliped back in fine.

the other i had to remove the clocks so i could pull on the wiring loom whilst someone else sloted the pedal in.

the plastic clip that holds the loom up had broken and let the loom sag and over the years it had got very used to where it was
