the t28s was the option that i was going to go for but sadly didnt have the funds. im at the understanding they spool up the same with no lag but run so much more boost for longer. ? Are you buying new.

Buy a set of t28 Blades and shaft, bore out your original t25 turbos to house the t28 parts then get the shaft balanced etc put it in and you have yourself a Hybrid turbo combining now fuss putting the turbo back on but the extra power from a t28!

Will be far cheaper and better than buying a set of T28 turbos

t28s should be a good one to go for.

they are fitted to the s14 200sx and are capable of around 280-300hp per turbo in that spec (gti-r had a different trim)

the s13 used a t25 but i think is again a different trim to the 300 unit. most s13s product up to around 250 on the t25 so a pair on the 300 could make up to around 500.

i would have thought that the t28s would be a little laggy as in the s14 you would hit 15psi by around 3k. that has 2000cc driving the turbo but the 300 would only have 1500. i would expect full boost (15psi) by around 4k if you can live with that.

the t28 also has a 5 bolt flange instead on the 300s 4 bolt.

hope this helps.

ps there is also the gt28s and gt28rs (disco potato) which are popular upgrades on the s14- the gt28s is a roller bearing version of the 28 and spools a little earlyer.

was thinking of getting t28`s from s14 200sx and having manifolds made up to suite.or i might just have t25`s sent away for a bit of cosmetic surgery(seemed to work on the wife)

your tubs are t25 you can have your tubs internals machined to take the t28s compressor on the standered unit and it will not afect anything ,no diff nothithing except same boost no lag and more boost for longer wicth means more power
