I'm trying to remove the vent on each side of the dash, but it doesn't seem to want to come out!

This bit...

attachment.php?attachmentid=50812&stc=1&d=1254660695

Now according to the manual it should just have some clips, and by the look of it it should just pull out!

attachment.php?attachmentid=50813&stc=1&d=1254660847

Anyone removed them before, any tricks not to break it!

TIA

Dave

if its anything like the two main dash vents going along the windscreen then they just pull out. the mistake i made at the start was grabbing as much plastic as possible to prevent snappage, and actually copping hold of the lower bit that the upper bit clips into as well so it was never gonna come out! never tried to remove those ones Dave so good luck!

theres no screw holding it in - it is just clipped. Be careful though as they will be fairly brittle after all that direct sunlight.

Cheers guys

All I wana do is remove the wood trim as these two sections are the only ones left now. The windscreen vent ones came out very easily, which surprised me!

Just off topic a bit. Dave I could have swapped your turbo's if I had known sooner. Didn't know they needed doing.

Ivan

Hi Ivan,

How you doing mate, not seen you around for a while!

The turbo's haven't been done yet!! :D

In fact, mainly due to my leg being knackered at the moment, the replacements haven't even been refurbished yet either!

Nah! Decided to keep her after taking her for an MOT and she only failed on one more thing than I already knew about!

She'll be ready for next show season :D
