I bought back the Blue Flame exhaust from my old Z (thanks Pete:bow:) and had it fitted yesterday.....

 

......plus I bought a black strip for the rear spoiler from MJP, along with a new "twin turbo" badge. I stuck them on this morning - I reckon it does look better by finishing off the shape of the rear lights:cool:

 

It was pretty fiddly to get it smooth though and I reckon I could have done a better job if I'd tried a bit harder!

 

And I know it's a bit dirty but it's going in to have the the driver's door painted on Thursday so I'll clean it when I get it back!!

You're right - only the driver's door and near side rear wing to do! It's booked in this Thursday; hopefully I can get them to give the lower part of the front bumper a blow over too, to remove the stone chips and that small scuff!

It's looking really good with the work you've done to it. Always was a great car - but with the 99 spec bits and other bits and bobs its even better. One of the best standard-ish cars around.

 

I've been doing a bit of work to the Black Brunei car as its now on the road. Aftermarket stereo, air con controller and turbo timer have been removed. Original climate controls re-instated. Off to Zedworld for a health check - week on sat. Drives really well though - as you know ;)

Cheers Phil - I love the car! It drives superbly; smooth and fast - and with the exhaust fitted it sounds good as well. Not loud, just "right." I hadn't planned to do half the things I've done but it just sort of happened........

 

Once it's back from the body shop I'll take some proper pics (ie not with my phone!) and update "my rides" accordingly.

 

That's good news about the collector's Z. Those bits you mentioned were the only negative things on the car; otherwise it was spot on! But now you've fixed them it'll be a true one-off example!

 

Jeff's the right person to take it to as well - I look forward to seeing your progress!
