Looks cool with your hids off, with them on the blue and orange don't go. OMI.

Maybe some blue tints in the sidelight would look better.

Al.

I have'nt got round to fitting chrome indicator bulbs so my LED sidelights reflect off the amber bulbs and give it that kinda look. I'll be honest i quite like it and have'nt bothered ordering chrome bulbs LOL.

Not really a good pic as it does'nt show them as they are IMO but you get the idea :)

Not a good look at all IMO. Ever seen the new Minis fitted with optional HIDs? Their horrible little yellowy lights glowing away underneath. The trick to a nice slick looking car is minimising the colours. Having little yellowy lights on it looks ungainly IMO.

I have super white LEDs in mine that DTA supplied and they match 6,000k HIDs perfectly.

l;ook horrible IMO.

Hids are nice tho just not the indicator bulbs.

Fair comments, I wasn't sure myself hence the question. In my last one with HIDs I got the ultra white sidelights and it looked spot on... I like the orange on its own but as Alan pointed out it just doesnt look the same with the HIDs on.

You really need LEDs if you're going to try and colour match the forward lighting. Normal filament bulbs will always give off a yellow tinge compared to HIDs and LEDs.

yeah sorry it was the LED style I had last time, very strange flat looking things they were.

I have to agree - keep the same colour all round!

Richard:)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
