I`ve had a funfilled weekend until some cock banged my vert :mad: ,dont know who and where but deffo happened at the weekend, not bad but pissed me off, but Isaac took a few snaps on the way to zedworld ,so here goes

There is no paint off and it is approx 5 inches long, above the bumper line??

just a thought pal,,,that soft top is propa nice,,tint the rear platics windows on the hood limo black,,,i think it would really do the car some justice.

 

U'd be able to get that sdent taken out,,paintless dent removers??probably charge about a ton(100pound)...

Tried to get close up on the dent and brighten but the resolution was bit low, anyhow who ever done that knows all about it because that area is very strong as it folds under for the bumper and as a consequence is very rigid there so would have been very obvious.

 

On the upside it is accessable from the boot and most of it can be re-shaped and then a slight skim, very bad luck for you and shame on the culprit :nono:who has not owned up.

Thanks for all the comments guy`s, I reckon the dent came from when i parked up in a NCP in Tamworth, I remember parking next to a new shape beetle and when i returned a honda civic was next to me. It`s not the end of the world but this happened to my silver zed in ASDA a few months ago, another dent in my rear arch, this time it was captured on cctv, and the woman was holding her baby and the door slammed into my arch, but what can i do?? It was an accident, and the cctv couldnt be released until a claim had been raised, I couldnt be arsed to be honest, too much mider and i felt sorry for the woman as she looked stressed!!! But people dont give a F**k about other peoples property, really annoys me, anyway rant over!!!

 

Just regarding Stellas reply, The rear plastic does crinkle when folded up, but a friend who had a bmw vert had his plastic spray tinted? it looked perfect and lasted quite well, but i am open to comments as i want it to look right.

 

But yeh, I am with the majority on here, the verts are definatley a grower. I wasnt sure myself at first, especially the Black colour aswell, but it took about 3 days of polishing and ideas and i love it, nowhere near as fast or as stable as my TT but the vert seems to overcome that by the sheer styling and smileablity factor, my poor TT is at the back of the garage with bird shit all over it arrrrrrrrhhhhhh i never thought the day would come, I`ve even thought of selling it, but just yet couldnt do it??

yes mate,i was gona say spray tint them black,would look alot better,,give it that hard top look,,and ur right about big arched german cars they do seem to do alot of damge to softer metal jap cars,a slight graze does leave a nasty dent.

 

a golf clipped my mums yaris which left it with a nasty dent to the arch with no paint damage what so ever, with it being on the front wing it was easy to get behind it and pull it back into shape.

Shouldn't be owt major,might need to take ya bumper off to get to it propa,hope you get it sorted pal.............

I reckon we got some good shots there mate :) I love the ones you got and i don't think i did a bad job myself :D A couple of good uns atleast IMO.
