Yes! My father was a chess coach for Millfield School (as well as Latin/classics/French and Portuguese teacher). A highly prestigious private school.

 

We had William Hartston round for lunch too (BBC Chess commentator and UK Chess Champion). This all happened when I was only about 10 or 11. Can't remember too much. I was fortunate to play a game of chess against William. He played about 20 people all at once. Thrashed me in about 8 moves! LOL
