As title says......

.......Julia and I took ZX number two for a blast down the M4 yesterday as we fancied a day out in Bath.

I am very pleased with the car and it performed faultlessly; eating up the miles (very) swiftly with ease. It also used less than 3/4 of a tank of fuel for the 218 mile round trip - an achievement considering I wasn't hanging around either. Especially as the M4 was empty on the way there...:p

I like it more with every trip and I reckon it's definitely a worthy replacement for my old Z

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Glad your enjoying it Richard. It never let me down - if I hadn't bought this other one I'd gladly have kept it. Have you finished the work you wanted to do on it?

D'oh; sorry buddy:o

Missed you again Si. And I really want to see your Z as well....

....still we're often heading heading west; I'll give you a call next time we are coming down. This was a last minute thing though - 8am decision Sunday morning; Z waiting patiently in the garage etc.....

Cheers Phil,

Almost finished....

.....just got the small paintwork bits to sort now; the driver's door and the bit under the fuel cap. Then perhaps a light blow over for the tiny bits on the front bumper! I will book in into the bodyshop in the next couple of weeks - whilst the weather's been good I've wanted to drive it.....:p

As you know, there's nothing else it needs (although I am buying my old exhaust back from Pete;))

It's a fine Z mate and I'm very pleased I bought it. The only downside was the twat who fitted the new tyres - he damaged the sill under the driver's door by careless jacking. I am trying to get the tyre place to foot the bill; but I may need to ask for your confirmation it was not creased at the time of sale:x:

Blast! - a mini meet:headvswal

And I could have left Julia at the shops for the afternoon instead of trying to look interested whilst she browsed at some old crap that I'll never even notice once she has bought it......

Richard;)

I've literally only just had that sorted on mine after an AA chap jacked it up on the seam. The AA payed for it all to be done, which I was quite impressed with as strictly there was no way I could prove it was them.

but I may need to ask for your confirmation it was not creased at the time of sale:x:

It was definately ok when I had it. I noticed as so many are squashed flat :nono:
