i am looking at new turbo's.. 900ish

plus g box.. 1300-1500ish

hicas joint.. 150 ish

 

only paid 1950 for the car..

am i gonna be better off cutting my losses and selling it? and starting a gain just buying a manual as i do drive cars very hard..

 

the car is clean... but i don;t know..

i have not got the money to do the turbos and the gearbox.. i might be able to stretch to do the gearbox.. but not both at same time.... and i am on holiday so no chance of any over time in next couple months paypacket :(

and how good a write up is there for the manual auto conversion??

also i work shifts and when not on shift i have to look after my 2 year old girl... she likes to help but soon gets bored.. its coming up to winter and have no garage..

 

so it would take mea fair while to sort it and its my everyday driver

recondition the tubs, will cost about £200 all in for both

 

good advice there :)

If you can find a manual on ebay that needs some work and is going cheap then you'll be on for a winner. Trust me it does happen ;)

buy a banger from the auctions as a backup (i have a 2000 w reg mondeo) £400. and do it yourself mate......once it's done sell the banger
