Rb use a different bell housing I think. I remember kirbz saying that the RB26 6 speed would fit the Z with the right bell housing. Might be worth bunging him a message.

bell housing wouldn't be too much of a problem to fit i should imagine.

kirbz were art thou?

TBH, if this is correct, I am supprised that not more people have done this instead of talk about the Z33 gearbox which is weaker than the Z32 box.

the 0-100 time would be awesome with a 6 speeder on these cars

both RB box's would bolt up according to rod bell at RB motorsports, the RB25 is i believe the same box as the TT zed anyway ;) but its no stronger, the RB26 box again will bolt up but you would also need the transfer box from a gtr and you would need to plate up the front prop shaft and get a custom prop shaft.

again the only issue with the rb26 box is its not that strong, has the same issues with weak syncros.

Just out of interest, why would you need a transfer box? Can't you simply remove the transfer box and plate the hole this was sat in? If transfer box is removed, should it not automatically run in RWD anyway? Just wondering as I don't know much about the RB26 box.

the back of the rb26 box is open and needs the transfer box, whether you can do something without it i dont know? but when i spoke to rob he said its pretty easy to remove the cog which turns the front prop shaft and weld a plate on it.

again not sure the difference with the prop shaft but its not overly expensive to have a prop shaft made.

the other interesting thing would be, i wonder if you could fit the front prop and front diff and run power to the front wheels ;) now that would be interesting LOL not sure if you would have the room like but a nice idea LOL

Yeah that is interesting. I think the engine sits too low in the frame for you to be able to do that. I am sure it's moddable though! LOL
