Mercedes vent at the back of the bonnet. Never seen it done, would like to. Would look more 'factory' rather than 'plastic fantastic'.

 

Get an old E-class bonnet with the vent cutout and grille. Cut the area around it out and get it blended into the stock bonnet.

 

 

 

 

Newer one which shows it a bit better. You can even use the washer jets from it.

 

not keen on the louvers, dont want a vented nose panel, i like funkysi idea of venting at the back of the bonnet though.

Yer bud that would look different. I have spoke about this before to bodyshops about bonnet vent etc and they say the issue is that your trying to fiberglass onto an ally bonnet. Then before loge the join cracks. Don't know how true it is though before anyone batters me LOL

Same vent, just diff picture angle.

 

if Car.mad used same design as Zcentre (http://www.zcentre.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?cPath=21_22_34&products_id=67) then the top part (the bit that sits at the top edge of the bonnet), is raised to create a 2nd vent. So if you turned it around you would end up with a raised bit at the front and that would'nt really work.

 

But there is an Alternative version that allows you to mount it either way :

Looks better and is more subtle mounted the regular way though IMO ..plus you want hot air to be drawn out, rather than trying to force cold air in.

Aye thats me lol!!! The vent is cheaper to buy on here if you want to have a look in my traders section.

 

The 2 vents are the same just that the type 2 has the inside edgecut off :)
