Hi,

 

Not been on here long and new to Zeds but wondering where to take my car for a check over and possibly a service. Its a 1990 tt with an automatic gearbox. I have a few ideas of how I want it to be (not massively keen on the automatic gearbox so a conversion is certainly a possibility). I live in Scarborough but can't find anyone nearby but after some searches have found a company in Rotherham called zxtereme. Are they any good? I also notice a few members recomending a member from here (mike beaney?) is he any good? I might just take it to zedworld as they seem to know their stuff. If I can find somewhere closer though it would be more conveinient.

Zedworld is the closest recommended to you with full garage services I'd imagine.

Rotherham is a lot closer to me but if you're saying zxtereme and beaney are worth avoiding then it must be worth the extra travel

Andy @ Zxtreme is very knowledgable and experienced, if he is closest them I would definatly try him first.

 

Zxtreme tend to specialise in Rebuilds and Big projects which tend to have waiting lists, whereas Zedworld cater more for servicing and general work so may be able to fit you in easier if Zxtreme can't.
