hi im new to the car i got a fresh import last night , drove over 400 miles to get it , but i havnt got a clue why

 

1, its in kph which is a pain in the arse at the mo ( i understand this but is it as simple as taking the old kph out and pick up a mph of ebay and replace it , the car is a 1996)

 

2, not sure why i have to wait for the little computer to count down till it hits zero to take the key out , its very annoying (what is it for etc)

 

3 and the power and hold button

 

if anyone can shed light on the situation it would be great thanks.

im i rite in sayng that as th car has got loads of power et and being automatic, is there still a chance that you an damage the engine from flooring it . As in will the auto box prevent any damage

 

Incorrect. Autobox doesn't prevent anything. The autoboxes give up before the engines! LOL

.....the only damage it 'sometimes' prevents is valve damage if the cam belt were to break.

im i correct in saying that putting your foot down in these cars is kinda what its designed for there for wouldnt do any damge what so ever

it was more to the point of your guys past experiance, as in are these engines solid whats there down sides, can they blow up easy etc etc, its nice to no its limits etc.
