Hello all, I'm only registered on here and I haven't got the funds to join. The thing is my zed a UK auto TT failed its MOT with a number of thing need sorting but theres two things I'm after and so called these parts are available from Nissan. I need two rear ball joints Nissan charge £43-£46 each and a link arm in drivers side wheel arch the one at the very top and Nissan charge £175which is a joke!

Has anyone got any phone numbers or websites to get these sort of parts cheaper?

I cant use the for sale part of this forum as I'm not a member.

Any help would be great

Oh yeah! anyone know when Paul from SWZ is back off his hols??? He only lives walking distance from me so handy to have him around!!

Paul has not been on here since 5th May 2009 and I think he last posted that he had decided to stop doing 300zx parts or work.

hello there and welcome to the wonderful wizzardness of z.

 

yes those rear outer steering ball joints are a pain,,, thats why i bought the dw hicas lock out kit,, it did cost £200 but worth it, It will be a pain in the ass to change and fit these balljoints, i removed both side hubs and used a press to get them out then repkaced with the driftworks kit and it uses poly bushings instead :D For the top link arms you can buy aftermarket adjustable ones for about £150-200 so you may aswell buy those.

Buy the parts from Mike Feeney at MJP Auto in the traders section and get a competant garage to fit them......

 

.......or take your car to JeffTT at Zedworld in Tamworth for the lot.

Oh right.... I haven't been on this site for some time, I seen him not long ago and he was going on holiday, I didn't need the parts then so didn't think to ask about work? He still drives a zed about though!
