My 1989 SWB import has always been a b.... to insure as far as the insurance companies were concerned...two heads, spawn of satan and not a UK car 1990 on, so not on their dropdowns so doesn't exist! And Adrian Flux was as bad!

 

Two years ago I went through Endsleigh and got Norwich Union Fully Comp with £400 excesses @ £262.30 after a lot of aggro and talking to their new business manager directly. Last year they wanted to double it but settled @ £290 after argument.

 

So, imagine my surprise when the renewal came through this morning @ £179.00 with £100 excesses... no brainer, accepted straightaway!
