Just out of interest, how much did you spend on your zed when you bought it.

I know mine was a total bargain and fully working, needed the odd bit of cosmetic stuff on the outside, nothing major, any work ive done myself, the most expensive was doing the clutch. £200.

M reg UK TT Manual £1500. everything working and it still gets used every single day.:hyper:

H reg TT manual 6 years ago £3000 with 53000 miles. It needed some work minor work but had a few performance add ons! Took the car off the road around 2 years ago for a new clutch and respray since then ive spent around 25K and its still not finished.

paid 4.5k for mine, i have a ring binder with every receipt for purchases against the car (not including fuel, insurance, tax etc) and it owes me just over 15k... im not done yet though!

i get it all the time about what i 'could' have bought for that money but it really doesnt bother me... its been built up over many years, as and when i can afford to do things. i would have had to save all my money instead of modding/maintaining the zed and smoke around in an f reg ford fiesta popular plus up until now to be able to buy a 15k car with no debt. no regrets from me ;)

£3800 UK Manual TT 49K on the clock and completely stock apart from short shifter and rear window tinted, brought from meht

£2900 last october, then had to spend £1800 to get it through it's MOT 3 months later:smash:. Don't regret it though as I was rather fussy about what I wanted and had been looking for ages. Including buying it it's cost me about £6000ish so far.
