also after this when i go to accelerate it kinda stutters a tad before accelerating proberly due to the same problem???

i have cleaned my afm but this has not helped, what else could i now check???

i dont have a bov!

do 300's have recirc valves like 200's do??? if so are they prone to leaking at all??

i would say almost certainly PTU failure, mines an auto and had exact same symptoms, i swapped the PTU over for a diffrent one and been perfect ever since.

I would say try and get it on a consult diags and see what that throws up, i had similar faults and my iacv and tps were out.

ok cheers guys, ill wait till i got some money and have a diagnostic test done then i spose :(
