depends on your budget, if your looking at a car local to you, put up a thread to see if someone who knows what they are looking at may pop along and see with you.

Have a look at a few, there is good and bad. you might a cheap one, but it will cost more in the long run, get a well looked after one, by someone who is not just a seller, but more an enthusiast.

When you find a good one, it will show.

What Stu said.........Stellaz has been good enough to look at one for me. in the end I got lucky. Picked one up cheap and the only problems I've had is a dodgy window and a knackered coil pack.

There is a lot of crap around, you would be safer buying one off a member

yep buy from a member. the risk of buying a cheap one is not likely to pay off.

now this i like the colour does it for me but it a non turbo. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1208839.htm

but i was trying to get the seller to sell this one before the auction ended and he said no , he wanted it to run the full 5 days! and with 3 days remaining he ended it. i hate it when that happens.http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1193019.htm mind you it wasnt selling for the price he got it up for! i find people are buying these cars to try and sell to make a profit..

I had mine up for sale about a month ago and i live in bristol but have since changed my mind, me and murt both live in bristol if you ever want anyone to go look at some with you? im sure he wont mind...

Both look nice, the import would need a replacement rear spoiler. TT for your power needs though. You should look and drive both mate.

dont be fooled into thinking that because a car is for sale on here that is gonna be mint and great... its not always true, you could still find yourself trading your hard earned cash for a complete shed.

id take johnwayne300 and murt up on their offer to help look at cars that your interested in as they will have a good idea at what to look for but whatever you do, when you go to look at 1... rip it apart... go over it with a fine tooth comb... i dont wanna teach you to suck eggs when it comes to buying a car, so i wont wibble on... there is a good buying guide specific to the 300zx on here to help you, i would advise browsing through it :D

Too right bud. If your budget is over 4000, you will get a nice running, looking Zed.

These cars are not in an auction anyway, the price you see is the price you pay unless you haggle them down, which I am sure would be in a deal.

Of course not, i dont mind helping anyone out, as long as its stuff i know about :)

In reality the price does not guarantee or even indicate condition. There are a LOT of bad examples out there, some dead cheap, some pricey.

Prices vary wildy for the Z and you can easily buy a tidy Example for 2k and a right old dog for 4k.

Knowledge is key, view the cars well prepared. NEVER buy the first example without viewing others. View as many as you can before selecting the best one. The way they drive and perform, and the general feel of each differs immensely.

Look through the buyers guide. If your not mechanically minded or well experienced then take somebody that is, and even better a Z enthusiast who has owned and been around other Z's.

these cars was in auction at the time, it my fault on the yellow one i tryied to haggle the price and some one payed the BINP, the white one was a running auction and the owner said no to the auction ending early as he had whey too much intrest, but now it on piston heads and the own has just bought it so the previous own ended and sold before it ended.
