Smoothed the rear bumper completely?

By that i mean smoothed all the rockguard and also filled in the swage line.

Am going to be taking my front off and respraying it and also fitting some nice plain skirts and door fillers. Also i was going to smooth the rear bumper and was wondering if it is a good idea to fill the swage line also and leave it completely smooth.

Anyone done it or got a pic of one done this way?

Taa,

Tbh and not just saying this i would really fit the rear to go with it. As from the side profile would look way to high.

Also the rear would look way to soft compaired to the rest. all imo of course :)

Maybe once i have fitted the skirts i can decide whether its a good idea or not.

Will the skirts leave the line down the sides??

If so then no point getting rid of the rear one :)

It has been done, this is the only thread I could find but I am sure I have seen pictures on here of a red zed with the swage lines all filled as well.

Thanks for that mate :duffer:

Would love to see it in a more standard form. By that i mean just a standard bumper with the swage filled in, rather than customized to fit a certain exhaust etc.....

If the skirts don't cover the swage lines at the sides tho i am not going to fill it in, will look a bit daft if thats the case i think.

Cheers,

Isaac

I think the red one was a standard bumper with swage lines filled, it was red and went to Bruntingthorpe for a magazine shoot, thats about all I seem to remember, was a few years ago so forgive me if my memory is wrong, gives you an idea what to search for.
