its easier tho........... lol any chance of an answer to this question si . lol you make me nervous im sitting here like im on trial, scared.. :D

i remember reading years ago that for every hand brake turn its like adding 5000 miles worth of wear and tear on your car?

not a good luck in the local carpark im affraid

Hahaha! Don't mind me!

Handbrakes are within the rear disk unit I believe. Too many of them will probably tear the lining.

si, you have probably just saved my life, by saying that :) lol

Zed handbrakes are bad and wouldnt do a lot anyway.Youd probaly break the shoes hold down springs with the load so i wouldnt bother personally.Drift cars handbrakes are hydraulic and work on the caliper so you can lock the back wheels at crazy speeds.

just give it a go, nowt better than showing off to ya mates with handbrake turns and a bit of a drift

not that I've really tried it, but I'd have though using the handbrake to aid a drift would just make things more complicated as one second your trying to lock the rear wheels, then the next your trying to make them spin stupidly fast.

the handbrake would get the back end out, you just need to flick it out then the power would keep the drift, this is what you do if you dont know how to do a scandinadian flick lol

you can change down a gear but violently drop the clutch which will momentarily lock up the rear wheels but you gota use no revs and to get it to start sliding youl have to have one side of the suspension under load, so steering slightly, it works great for me. or you can combine the flick with the clutch drop.

go onto driftworks forum and its all expalined there by the pros.

The Handbrake shoes are very thin and not cheap. Absolutely no need to touch the handbrake to get the rear sideways in a Z.

If you were to get into drifting seriously with the Z, then you'd fit a Hydraulic Handbrake.
