Found i have a little time in the latter end of the evening these days (none any other time lol) and instead of sitting on my bum watching TV and surfing the internet i am making a start on the many things i have piled up relating to my zed.

Tonight i started prepping my vented bonnet and matching headlight panel. Wash, rub down, bit of filler and then smoothing off etc...

I've also got a pair of side skirts making their way to me with some door fillers. This to will need prepping and spraying etc.......

Got a pair of 99 spec headlight inserts which need painting one way or another (still undecided which route to take with them). Then they will need putting in my spare pair of headlights.

Got a spare set of rear lights which i plan on 99ing. Gonna do a proper job like Sussex stu, he has really done a top notch job and inspired me to replace my cracked sh1tty ones with some perfect ones. Gonna do the 300ZX logo in red indiglo also.

I also have to take my front bumper off for a proper painting this time. When i fitted it i had to do a quick job to get it on the car, but i now want to rub it all down and get it perfect.

And lastly (that i can think of lol) i have the boot build i bought of 8ace to prep and fit. Gotta cover it, get everything wired up and then fit it all in and get it looking sweet.

So who else is working on their zed - what you doing to it??? :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Nothing recently. Progress is stagnant.

In fact I've just about had enough of it all and its getting me down so much I'm considering jacking it all in.

Nooooo, hang in there mate, it'll be worth it in the end and if you give up now you'll regret it later on.

Removeing all the door and boot and targa rubbers ,and claying it and then polishing the parts you dont see , before putting them back ,

erm lots to do on mine 99 replica rears still to fit, boot, 95 spoiler and mostache sprayed on tuesday, new wheels (waiting for pick up date) little bit of lowering (+camber shim kit) and some focal polyglass 6.5" components to go in doors when they arrive.

Sorting out knackered drivers window

Fitting new sounds

getting a quote for a full respray

Looking for some nice new wheels

- Fit new wheels and adjust offset on front to clear my brake calipers.

- Drill and fit Stillen nose panel, complete with new seals.

- Modify and cover boot install.

- Paint and fit new tailgate with 99-spec spoiler

i did spend 2 hours today putting new discs+ pads all round.

Then put extra mats under the boot carpet to stop a bit of noise on the motorways-what a difference.lovely.
