Good Afternoon Folks,

I havent long had my car back from being repaired where I had a water bypass done. Now that is all nice and water tight at the back it appears (from what I can see) that one of the seals on the front water pipes has sprung a leak. Is this an easy fix / common problem? there appears to be a fair bit of coolant over the top of the engine etc.

I have had the car for three years now and it has always seemed to leak something from somewhere!

Cheers as always,

Dave.

do you mean one of the two pipes going in under the plenum at the front? if so then over the years the rubber and/or the metal pipes they feed onto can perish. this happened to mine after a rebuild. perhaps they just get disturbed when the engine comes out/goes back in.

Not sure if its the pump, there were a few spots on the road when I pulled up to my space but in a matter of an hour there was a rather large puddle on the floor.

Not looked since as it was a little toasty :)
