Different figures for different Magazine tests.

0-60 of around 5.6 seconds seems to be the most common time.

1/4 mile of 13.8-14.2 seconds

Top Speed is 155 Limited (175'ish unlimited)

Although Car & Driver magazine managed a 5.2 sec 0-60 in a SWB TT Manual.

yeah when i start playing i will be doing things like that.. wanna get the car running perfect and everything sorted before playing

My First Z - TT 2+2 Manual

Induction kit

Catback exhaust & decats

John Dixon ECU

265/35/17 Falken-452 tyres

On stock boost it recorded a 5.5 secs 0-60 and 14.1 secs 0-100.

On 14psi boost with the same mods it did a 4.7secs 0-60 and 11.9 secs 0-100.

Recorded using Datascan Diagnostics.

1bar boost should see you under 5 secs 0-60, and under 12secs 0-100 (down from 14secs)

ohh me likes the sound of that..

will be looking at doing ecu... de cats.. boost controller.... hmmm

my best was 4.7 0-60 in mine! but has been on a diet (car lost around 70kgs) so shall be even less!

Just think of how many new performance cars have a 0-60 sub 5seconds!

New Astra VXR costing £15k+ has a 0-60 of 6.2! Just for comparison :)

Oh and on my road trip last year when we went through Germany Sat Nav clocked us at 172mph with 3people in the car and a Full boot with Camping gear, food and clothes!!

i know of a automatic zed with stock engine that got a speeding ticket of 205mph  (was on slight hill)

Not far from maxing out the box eh? im sure u read somewhere 206mph is the design topspeed for auto's!

tricky one,

what will my TT do top end,

but with the NA diff i have installed?

Math dictates that with the NA rear end with manual box and a 7200 rev limit the theoretical top speed is 172 mph. (190mph for TT rear end with manual box).

The achievable top speed is about having enough power to reach the rev limit in 5th gear though. Something a stock engine will not do.

I have not tested the top speed in practice of a TT Manual with NA rear end, but seen others in the U.S and Aus claiming 160+ still.

Im hoping for a good 0-60time once all is repaired.lol!!

I was informed that the average zed is normally running about 5seconds 0-60. 14bar boost is quite good, i was advised not to have stock turbos running at that tho as it will shorten the turbos life span very quickly.

my 0-60 time in my Standard TT is about 7secs, so now i defo know there is a problem lol seems too boost fine tho, hmm back to the drawing board

Yep, thats not good. Slower than a NA. Have you done an ECU error code test -

method 1 - http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html

method 2 - http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetfaq/FAQpages/ECUdiagnostics.html

or have it connected up to a Conzult or Datascan system

Stock turbos can handle 14PSi with no problem. Depends on the current state of them. But good stock turbos won't complain at 14PSi

stock turbos will far exceed 18psi, however they are out of their efficiency range above 18psi.

14psi is a safe increase. Its the Injectors that are the limiting factor, not the turbos.

yup. injectors stop at 14.5psi although you can push them further with some more fuel pressure but you risk turnig the fuel into a fine mist when sprayed into the engine.

done all this seems fine, would like to see conzult being used as never been there. wander if someone local would check it would see whats wrong.

yea i understand,

car will be on stage 1 mods, same as you had on yours, so hoping to be about 4 seconds odd 0-60, thats TT engine with NA diff, on 15PSI

0-60. 2 of us in the car 3 goes. with G-Tech device.

1/. 5.2

2/. 4.8

3/. 4.5

Tried a few more runs but 4.5 was the best.

Best top speed. 290 KPH at 6000 revs. Bottle went. wont do it again. :)
