TBH, whilst I am not a fan of huge spoilers, it worked on that car. i think the only thing you really needed to do was to update the rear lights with 99s.

 

wow..everyone prefers the more subtle original look without the big lairy aftermarket spoiler, except Si :eek: ...ok..who hacked his account !? :rofl:

I think the spoiler suited the style of the car, but looks good either way. If you never had it on there in the first place you wouldnt be missing it. You are just used to it being there... but I really think you should get some decent wheels. (and sell them ones to me) :dance:

I'm not sure about the smooth look - but a definate improvement without that particular spoiler.

Fooking yum without the spoiler, nice and smooth, Love the wheels and the colour is first class. Dump it down a bit, True sleeper style.

Will get my vote for COTM.

i do usually like the smooth look but for some reason yours looks odd, might be the skirts which throws the lines off?

Definitely a much purer shape without the spoiler, especially the huge one you had on (not a fan of big spoilers, especially on such a classy car).

I love it all smooth, I'm not a fan of that spoiler, personally i think it is ugly and doesn't suit the car.

Looks better without, I'm not a fan of anything that would be at home on an aircraft on a car. Think the lip spoiler would finish it off.

looks fine as it is...lips can be good too...but lose the wiper IMHO it'll clean the lines no end

Your original spoiler is sweet!!! purely because how rare it is.

 

Never seen a Border spoiler fitted before.

Smooth for me, although I wouldn't go smooth myself!!

I have a high level spoiler and personally like them. BUT! your car deffo looks better without. Maybe a '99 spec rear spoiler would look nice but as it is it looks really good. :)

Looks much better and yes very nice lip, finishes it off great...

i think the spoiler was actually nice one, matched the lines of the rear bumper, only thing is you would need to have changed the skirts i think to match more.

100% honest if you back it into a tree and sat susan boyle on the rear end it still would look better than that spoiler. As said put 99 spec lights and that would be a stunning zed doesn't need anything else all IMO

see how different people think i actually thought it looked better with it on than without......and again im not a fan of those wheels on any car normally but with that spoiler and that colour for some reason i think it all joins to make your z look like a modern looking car and overall a v nice look

i thank you for your honesty.it helps.the spoiler will not be going back on but still thinking on the lip.i do like it.i have a new set of side skirts to go on.i think they might help as they are a little bit smoother.if eney one wants a set of genuine Bomex swb side skirts give me a shout.

as for droping the car....its bloody low now.i have a full HKS set up on it and it sticks and then some more.LOL
