August 13, 200916 yr Don't forget to add import duty and VAT on top of that price. You might be OK and avoid paying anything, as he uses USPS, and I've never had to pay anything with that service yet ;)........ but you never know!
August 13, 200916 yr Author is it easy to wire one in if you have the connectors, i mean are the wires all the same colour?
August 13, 200916 yr is it easy to wire one in if you have the connectors, i mean are the wires all the same colour? You have two choices........ 1) Use the adaptor loom that comes with the kit and plug into your original loom. 2) Use this link...... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=128599... and adapt your current loom to just use the new series 2 plugs only. A bit more work, but less likely to be affected by bad connectors as you are doing away with the old plugs altogether. HTH Dave
August 13, 200916 yr You won't need to worry about wiring anything in because the kit comes complete with a harness. This plugs directly into your existing wiring loom. Also, USPS most definitely gets intercepted by Customs & Excise. I've just had to pay import duty/vat & agency handling fees on a consignment from the US that came via USPS (by the way, ParcelForce are the UK handling agents). You should therefore budget to pay in the region of 24% of the TOTAL SHIPPED COST for import duty/vat/handling. You may get lucky but from experience I'd say it will be charged. Regards, Dan
August 13, 200916 yr Author no problem, thanks. Only reason i ask if its easy to wire in there is a used one with both connectors for a fraction of the price, i do electrics at work so i dont mind a little extra work. So thanks Dave, you saved me some spon
