man flu with eye mucus

ive had manflu yet agian since friday, been drugged up on bechams capsules since then and thought i was getting better until today, had a sort of relapse lol, but ive now developed aches and pains, a sore throat and most strangely im getting a type of phlegm coming out of the bottom of my eyelid, its making my eye sore and im making it worse by rubbing it (i know i shouldnt), is it something i should be concerned about or is it to do with my cold (the eye snot im talking about lol)

anyone had this????

I get recurrent bad chest/ flu symptoms, mostly caused by my sinus's getting bunged up+ inflamed/infected.

nasal spray works for me no bother.

thats what ive been getting, tight chest, bunged up nasal passages and so on, what spray do you use???

Had a similar problem. Doc said it was a blocked tear duct preventing drainage. sounds like you're backing up through the duct.

one of two solutions

1. massage the top side of your nose to clear it.

2. get someone to kick you in the face when not looking :mac1:

im going out on sat in sunderland, so the headkicking aint a prob lol

will try the massage business, i am all bunged up though, ive been taking flu capsules for a few days, they stop runny noses, maybe it comes from your eyes instead lol

If the headkicking don't work mate, you could try steam. Put a little bit of olbas oil in a bowl, pour in boiling water and inhale the steam. Won't cure it but will give you some relief. Sounds like the eye snot is just because you're bunged up, should clear in a few days.
