Ok so now there is a new problem with the car before ive had chance to fix the others.

There is a noise coming from behind the glove box which sounds like someone sucking a straw constantly in a nearly empty cup, but the only thing i can find in the area is the battery. Is there something under the battery or behind the glove box which uses a liquid?

I'd like to know the answer to this too. I've got a sucking sound coming from the same area, was thinking it was the aiv's. Doesn't sound like water tho'.

Hi fellas, could be wrong completely but i do know that the heater blow is right behind the glove box, just thinking that maybe noise's could be from there.

Straw noise maybe a leaf or something along them lines getting sucked around.

Sucking sound could be the clips that hold the to halfs together to make a seal could have broken or come adrift, the plastic parts on mine broke when i took mine out also had some leafs and general cr*p in it, but no noise's.

Long shot i know but hey worth a look maybe?

my first thought was the heaters or air con, but surely they shouldnt be making a noise if they are both switched off. Its really loud at idle and can be heard a few feet away from the car. Will do a search for Aiv.

EDIT: "this could be the aiv in the wing. does it sound more like a gurgling noise as in drinking the last bit of water from the bottom of a cup. you get that slurp.

if so you need to drain the water in the U shaped pipe that goes to the unit.

there is a guide somewhere."

lol that will be it. Thanks :-)
