Hi all,

Picked up my first 300zx TT 2+2 last week. It's my third car after owning:

BMW e36 316i M-Tech

BMW e39 530i Sport

Very impressed with the car, the bodywork and interior all needs cleaning up, but under the bonnet is sound and had a lot spent on it by the previous owners. Anyway, here's the specs:

1992 UK Twin Turbo

Black leather seats

Stupid half-retrimmed dash\door cards

GReddy Turbo Timer

Twin Dump Valves

Remapped at ZedWorld

Stainless quad exhaust from cats-back)

18" Staggered deep dish alloys (235 Front, 265 Rear)

Motorised Kenwood Monitor & 6 disc CD changer

Rear light conversion (Lambo\Ferrari style?)

Stuff bought but yet to use/fit:

6000k HID dipped beam kit

Gliptone leather cleaner, conditioner and dye

Stuff to buy:

Material to retrim dash\doors

Windows seals (torn on both sides of car)

Stuff to do:

CLEAN! : Exterior to have all the old wax\cleaners stripped off, degreased, then machine polished, hand polished, a good layer of protectant followed by a good wax.

Interior needs a good shampoo, retrim and wipe down. The leather seats are going to be conditioned and colour-washed to bring the leather back to life.

That's about it really, well chuffed with the car and I look forward to driving it every day!:hyper:

Cheers everyone, hopefully I've get some more pics up in a month once I've spent some more time on it :hyper:

Cheers, I wasn't actually the winning bidder on eBay, I'd bought it off the buy 5 hours before it finished. Don't really know what happened with the auction tbh, the seller said eBay had pulled it because he'd said he wanted a swap

I used to own this car, its been in the forum a few times. Had different wheels on it when I had it though. Was a nice car well done.

welcome to the club mate.

Cheers for all the positive replies everyone.

I thought the car would probably have made an appearance on here before, is there any hidden history I might need to know about? e.g. crash damage, overheating/head gasket issues etc?

I know both sills had been done about 2 years ago so thats good, light knocking/ticking from top of engine could have been sticky lifter and gearbox crunched changing gear over 3.5k RPM from 1st - 2nd I think? Other than that Its a great car,.

Hmm, i'll have to have a closer listen to the engine for that ticking. I haven't had any issues with the gearbox yet & have definately tested it about 3.5k :D The work on the sills looks pretty tidy like.

That's really nice that, just needs some 99 rear lights and it would be a real stunner :D.

I need to clear my front indicators like you've got, I can see it makes a real difference.

The rear lights don't look as bad in real life, I was certain I'd get rid of them when I originally saw the pics online, but when I saw the car in person, I thought I can live with them.

I do still fancy a set of 99-spec lights, but unfortunately the new lights have been moulded into the body so it's gonna be a bodyshop job to get OEM lights back in :-/
