no you can't easily change them. none of the sensors are in place for the automatic air con and the little motors that move the air doors are different.

i actually prefer the manual air con control. i can pick the temperature i want it, where i want it and how fast i want it

I can on my series 2 air con :D

ah, but in the series 2 you still select the temperature you want the car to be, and the car decides what temperature air to blow. in mine i can select the temperature of the air.

i tend to prefer a gentle breeze that is constant and slightly cooler than ambient and having had manual, auto seriees 1 and auto series 2 i prefer the manual.

must admit the series 2 is so much beter than series 1

Nice! Navan auto shifter as well, notice later steering wheel with airbag, so it is a later car :)

All verts came with them I believe..never seen a vert with digital controls. Some of the very early cars came with the manual heater controls too, and very late models too when nissan made cutbacks and made the digital controls optional.

Hmmmm they did. I've got a late '92 Jap brochure which has the vert in it, ie; Series 2!

Ah i've no Jap brochure or anything, might look in big book of zeds later if i get a minute

My mistake, yes August 92 they were launched. Never seen one without Airbag wheel or older than 93

Perhaps just launched in the states on Aug 92? Or on a 93 Model Year?
