breaking into your car is easy, without damaging it.

when in maybe an idea to just remove the ignotion barrell completely?

until you sort it,

also removing the battery and some other key things like the coilpacks (easy to remove)

just so it wont be able to be started

sorry to hear that mate, hope nothing happens to the car etc and they catch the theiving gits !

again thanks for the replies

simple solutions

whats my best way for me to to get in

im gonna try and repace the ignition lock etc myself

for security reasons you can email me at

Zxminder@aol.com

cheers

minder

you're locked out of the zed?

i'd get a mobile auto key specialist...i know a guy called dave but he's way down south so not worth trying him but just so you know he'd hand cut a key for @ £80...cheaper than busting a window and less messy

once in then remove ignition relay / fuel pump relay...that will do the trick

did you get into it after mate?

what security option did you go for lol

thanks to everyone for your help

On the point of security Z32.... And please 'Minder' don't take offence at this..... But you've e-mailed someone, whom you don't know, and has only posted 66 times in 8 years, exactly how to break into a Z32!! Well done, I now have so much confidence in mine being parked out doors all the time!

Personally I'd rather have this sort of information remain closly guarded and not banded about freely!

understand what you mean,

but i didnt really post about it freely,

just trying to help, last thing he wants is more inconvenience & to splash out more money,

i really dont think hes someone trying to steal a Z :p

im sure you've got into it by now, but take a couple of wheels off it aswell as fuel relay etc cos if its stood up they may fail to start it but could always tow it away. My mate had his RS turbo towed away by theives as it was 10 feet away from their front door and had a really loud exhaust. They got underneath and cut the handbrake cable before dragging it down the road out the way where they sorted the immobiliser and went for a joy ride and then burnt it out on the roadside after! Sadly for him it wasn't insured either!

Also theres a good chance it will only be stolen to break for parts, as its much harder for police etc to detect and worth more to a professional theif!

On the security side though, any half wit theif can get into these cars easy. All cars of this type are quite easy to break into without smashing windows etc. So i wouldn't worry anymore than you normally would to be honest.

Mine lives outside aswell but to get mine they have to move my other car (unlikely) which is parked near enough touching and then get past my cat 1 alarm which is unlikely as my phone ringing inside the car or a loud exhaust sets it off! lol

anyway good luck mate

My point was more...."Do you know him?" If not why e-mail him something like that? He's not subscribed or even a regular member, for all you know he could be a member on loads of different car club forums (He's probably not, but it's the point I'm trying to get across ;) ) I've been here 6+ years now and I only vaguely recollect seeing his name pop up before (I'm trying to make a generlisation here and not have a go at Minder!)

Yeah, but the least amount of people out there that know, the better!

And incidently... "I don't know how to do it", so does that make me less than a Half-Wit? ;)

ahhhhhh, but are you a theif? if so then yes you are a half wit. ;) If you're not then you're just like everybody else and rightly don't know 'cos you don't need to.

I agree that the less people the better, as i suppose it won't be helping would be theives to target our sort of cars, but then oppertunist theives would use a brick anyway.
