What should i use to bond fibreglass over bumper to and Nissan STD rear bumper anyone recommend anything?

 

apart from getting a whole bumper :p

most just Silkaflex it on. (a type of bodywork sealant). But if you wanted to blend and smooth it in then Fibreglass and filler the join.

you think fibreglass will be strong enough Legrath?

 

Im not a body work man just thought i'd have a go after all, how hard can it be lol

....Fiberglass will be fine if you drill a couple hundred holes in the base bumper first, along the join - and rough the whole area up with an angle grinder - so the glass/resin has something to grip to.

better not take any picutes of me attacking his bumper with a angle grinder or may i should hmmmm. lol

Sikaflex is the way to go, as Legrath said, then fill any seams with body filler.

fits really well not much trimming needed.

Looks really nice from what I can see of it. Bit like the Kaminari extension. Anymore photos of it the other way round?

On second thoughts, I don't think it is. Looks like it 'could' be a copy of the wings west one....

 

Shame that no one has made a copy of the Kaminari extension.
