My Boot

is there any way of tightening the boot so it doesnt rattle when my subs are booming?

    if its the tailgate rattling against the body then you can adjust the lock latch, you loosen it, move it and retighten.

     

    Its probably the actual tailgate vibrating though, its comprised of 2 thin skins. Best bet would be to Dynamat it.

    lol i knew someone would say that.

     

     

    as for it being the tailgate i had mine removed, so its deffo the boot it just seems loose where it closes it gives about 1cmand this is causing the rattle.

     

    only thing i can think of is modifying the boot catch bending it in a little so its harder to close but closes perfectly tight...
