Sent Znut a pm this morning about being a trader but unfortunately i was refused.

Sorry guys.

Do you know Why?.

Paul

well i might as well put this to bed now...the club did used to have garage services in the traders section but it was a logistic nightmare to maintain with respect to members and traders not seeing eye to eye...deals and jobs turning sour which allways ended up as forum wars and the acting TLO at the time spending far to much time sorting problems out, so after carefull and long consideration by the committee it was decided that it was more trouble than it was worth to the club.Since then members and users make there own minds up who works on there cars and just by reading the forum for a short while the world of zed mechanics and people in the know who can maintain our cars unfold before our eyes without having there own section..hth;)

Would you really need full trader section on the board, a banner add may suffice and it wont take long to get you noticed ?

May I say it is only my intention to offer my 20-year engineering experience and apply it to providing a top quality service to the members of this forum.

Recon turbos bummer!

If I was having my engine rebuilt I would make sure I had enough money to buy NEW turbos and enough money to pay the guy who fitted them!!

God moves in mysterious ways…

Praise the lord !

I did get it done the right way in the end with the help of "jimmer". He is the best man for a rebuild, not like some of your know-it-all mechanics out there, if you know what i mean.

Any pictures yet im really interested to see them just to see if they match the ones i took.

When your ready!!

Pics of the said tubs. Now, i was quoted by you as them being refurbed, with 360 tb's and no supporting paper work to back it up. The tub with the red sealant had no gasket on either face, also has longitundinal play of .15", and as you can see the colour difference between the actuators, and i would assume that the acuators would either be replaced (being the same) or reused (again, being the same), not as in the pic, completely different. Now would you say that these tubs where reconditioned, or just simply reconned!! And yes, "god does move in mysterious ways...."

Just checked your old invoice matey you didn’t have 360's fitted just STD!!!

Also actuators were new weather they are cad plated or black makes no odds its how they came. You saw them when I was fitting them to your engine if you’re saying I was trying to make them look new then why would I only paint one when you can see both from under the car which you again saw.

Pipe flanges were flattered sealant was used and.......????

Bottom line is if you had a problem you should have brought the car back.

I think i agree on that one mate. both actuators do look new, just different colour, and that sealant looks like the type to seal head gasskett's so i dont see a problem with that.

Although why is there only sealant on one turbo??

You kept it for 12 months, yes 1 year, for a respray and tubs. Take it back!??, what, for another 12 months, i think not matey. you had my 300 once, and that was/is the last.
