Just polishing up my bike and going to put on biketrader to get the cash to move to a 350z, just wanted opinions on cost, maintenance, running and general experiences of them if anyone has one so that I can get an idea of what they are like to own.

Cheers,

Have a chat with Mark SIlverbullit. I know his lady has one.

Ive chatted to a few guys who also own, seem to be good fun, just depends on how they are treated.

I have seen older 350's that started to develop some serious rust and I've noticed on many 350's that the interior/dashboard wears out very quickly. (it also becomes rattly)

the VQ35DE engine is very good and will last, as long as you don't put any turbos or chargers on it.

I have a 350 roadster and it is the biz. I'm really pleased with it.

problems: after March 06 reg road tax is £400 pa before that it's 'normal'

click from rear axle is a common fault, nothing to worry about but costs over £200 per side to fix unless under warranty.

dealer service charges are ridiculous

on some models bose cd changer skips tracks again can be changed under warranty also there can be a faulty connexion to the left hand door speaker.

other than that buy one and keep smiling. There are plenty of bargains out there.

A mate of mine bought one with very high milage and he is also thrilled by it.

cool, I am very tempted, just a big decision as it means bye bye bike for now and also means we will have to rely on the missus car for family transport.
