who to go to? baught furniture online & have not received it

my mam and dad have bought some furniture, about 600 quids worth,

 

online company, over a month ago.

 

they dont answer the phone or return e-mails,

 

but they did a few weeks ago?

 

 

is there a certain trading standards or something?

 

feel a bit let down as ive bought a million things online, and be a shame to be disapointed.

i would be slightly worried as it says super fast delivery possibly next day......dodgy one, possibly gone bust?

how can i find out if they have gone bust, or is there a way of getting money back?

hopefully our parents paid by credit card........this can be cancelled i believe or you can contact the bank to see about getting your money back.

 

No sure how you can find out if they are bust....wikipedia or google them

Not sure if you should contact the trading association or something?

Tell them to contact Consumer Direct . Furniture can take a long time to be supplied to the seller by the manufacturer . Mine took two months ( German manufacturer ) , then one of the wardrobe doors was not the right type . Nearly three months after that , still not resolved . But Consumer Direct took the details on the phone and advised me about sending a letter by Recorded Delivery , and if there is no satisfactory result after that , they get involved .

dad soke to them now,

 

cancelled the order.

 

 

they didnt have the materials for the furniture, so just didnt reply,

 

asked do we want to do another order :rofl:
