That is one very nice zed have a good test drive haggel on the price and buy it if all is good. Thats what I think mate.

I think that you should certainly haggle on the price as im sure the guyer can let it go for less while still making a very attractive deposit. Thats in my opinion matey. If you really want it offer 4k.lol

No mention of timing belt change which was due around 60k so ask about that and any documents to prove it

Welcome to the site. It is a very very nice example and runs sweet as a nut. I know the bloke that use to own it and he always looked after it as you can see in the pics.

tbh the price wouldnt bother me, if people can make money on a car thats upto them, i am more bothered about issues with the car that would make someone want to "get rid" quickly, as i said may be nothing in it :)

Not really, its priced to how good the car is, just cos I bought it at a good price means nothing, if you found a Faberge Egg at a boot sale for £50 you then wouldnt sell it on for £50 you would sell it for what its really worth wouldn't you!

Genuine questions asked, shouldnt be out trying to add 3k to a cars value! I know i wouldnt get 3 times what i paid for mine, even if I did spend a grand on it (which i just have) :s

ive had this recently, someone has been pming people and putting them off my car, it has cost me a lot of time and money but in the end im glad craig bought it as its gone to a good home, anyhoos bud, when i asked for opinions you gave your devastating account to my car and you said you were just been honest, seems that this is all that this is, no one has salgged the car,they have just mentioned the jump in price, it may be worth it, you just fell lucky and got it cheap thats all

yeah if the person who owns the car asks what members feel about it you can be a bit more honest.

 

When a potential buyer asks and you know only the price it last sold for its not really a fair jumping in point. This is blatent sobotage like the PM's about your car, not an owner asking about views on it.

I have already emailed nick , can fully understand him wanting to make some money

and it shouldn't matter what he paid as i was willing to pay somewhere near the asking price , but as i said to nick the saying ignorance is bliss really does apply in this case .

So plase don't round on nick it's just one of those things.

as said though, they havent really slagged the car, it seems to be a nice exapmle and maybe worth the cash, they just commented about the price, as i said, you just fell lucky and got it at a good price
