Just got myself a private registration plate from my mrs for my up and coming birthday, so i was wondering if;

there is anyone on hear that can make up a set of number plates?

If so how much would these cost?

Ok...what size should i pick for a uk zed anybody now?

I used fancy plates. Really good service, very nice quality plates. You can get them cut to size, letter spacing etc.

Another Vote here for Fancyplates.

For a UK car you just want standard UK sized plates, however myself and others (funkysi..etc) have fitted a 3/4 size front plate which looks a lot better and blocks less airflow without standing out too obvious to the police.

PS, steer clear from holograms, slogans, graphics, crappy fonts, borders. Plates look best clean and free from clutter. Nice and neat. :)

Suprises me how many cars go around with tatty looking plates. Nice clean cars, then water damaged or cracked plates. Cheap fix and it makes the car look so much more fresh. Best stuck on too with no screws!

I disagree, sorry. I perfer plates with a clean black border and maybe the GB or similar logo. They look DIY when completely plain...imo.

Fixed. ;) TBH the blue Euro GB thing looks ok on yours as yours is a blue car. Keep colours to a minimum is my motto. :)

Get new ones, remove the bracket and don't fit bolts. You can also get yours spaced on one line like mine. :) Looks nice though, you've got it cut to size. :)

Simple thing like getting it cut to size makes it look far nicer. Seen so many with 4x4 plates on them and they are the wrong fitment. Looks untidy. Keep telling Jimmer to get a new rear plate. Might just order one for him. ;)

Think im going to order some plates from there spaced out, not to sure on if i should get a black border or not hto, think i might. So can i order 3/4 front plates and standard rear plates then from fancy plates

Pic of mine, i do need the bolts changing to coloured ones though

You need to loose the 'God-Awefull' hanging fog lamp as well!!

Another vote for Fancyplates.com here as well, had both my front and rear plate done by them, and I also have the small front one fitted.

Oh yeah, and I like my border and logo ;)

Hay i like the fog light. It will be a god send when its foggy!

No your right i will do it tomorrow as well as spraying my dash green:D

We all have rear fogs, its just that we have them hidden by making use of a Reverse or Brake light as the fog light.

:)
