LOL i know might be buying a tow bar lol

Lol, if you're only 24 you'll not be able to tow it as its not on you're licence. Max combined weight of car, trailer and payload no more than 3 ton i believe

lol, this aint going well is it, wasnt going to reinsure it untill back from my holiday but think im going to have to.

just get someone thats insured on their own car and over twenty five to drive it back for you!

it (the car) still needs its own 3rd party cover from another driver

Do you have another car that is currently insured?

If so, contact the insurer and ask them to put the Z on your current policy for a short time. I have done this in the past when selling a car - I already had a new car and when I transferred the insurance over, I asked the insurer if they would cover the old car for a fixed time (say 7 days) until I could sell it.

They duly obilged for around £25 IIRC.

agreed - add a temporary additional vehicle to an existing policy on another policy IF u have one on another car? if not - trailer lol

All insurers have to offer a 14 day grace period for cancellations don't they?

So you could start a policy and then have the right to cancel within the 14 days...although I'm sure there would be a pro-rated charge and an admin fee.

A little sneaky and haven't done it myself, but its an option if you are desperate!!
