hi anyone know where fuse is for electric windows:headvswal

theres a load of fuse down by the loud pedal on the right hand side a little door, remove and fuses behind it

hi thanks mate ive written the english conversion to the fuse box on the cover but nothing about electric windows in there

maybe its a relay then, sure someone will be along to tell us both what it is soon

Is it the drivers window by any chance??

 

If so its a common problem of a dry joint in the black box behind the door card. Unplug that and blob some solder on the joints that look dry and that should do it. You only have to get the botton bit of the card away too - you dont have to take the whole thing off, there is enough room to work.

 

If its both windows then sorry i can't help :p

thanks eyes i had this problem a couple of years ago and soldered the dry joint and worked fine. this is both windows so im thinking they must be a fuse somewhere

Under the bonnet next to the brake master cylinder slim black box, green fuse second in from the engine marked up power seats and windows.
