just flicked through the latest copy of official playstation magazine, and they say next month's issue will have the full story on GT5 (due this crimbo). i just cannot wait. ive deliberately not got prologue and what i have played (which is literally a few minutes when i was forced to by a mate) erally wowed me! cant wait :dance:

can't wait for this game either - have any of you guys seen the new Forza 3 as well? - I have played the demo and it is amazing, gonna be a lot of debate on these 2 games when they are both released.. :O

Gran Turismo release date is now said to be march 2010 in japan, when it will make it over her was not mentioned, I personally think next holiday season, (christmas) but I hope its sooner lol

apparently theyre researching into head movement recognition technology for the game too - if you have one of those PS eye camera things. i can only assume it means that if you move your head then the in-game camera will look that way too. cool feature but might make you feel sick after a while! lol

Ive just bought it for the psp.

 

Fantasic game they seemed to of sorted out the funny handleing that was on the demos etc. also for once the handbrake works :hyper:

 

I know what most of the cars are to as there are over 800 of them, at the min i have a 99spec zx and a 89spec :)

 

Good news is when it comes out on the ps3 i can plug the psp into it and transfer all the money and cars over to gt5 :dance:

was looking at the car list the other day they have 2 versions of the 300 standard 2+2 and i think its a nismo version it said

 

The psp version has the 89 spec and 99spec :D

nice to see 5 300s there! lets hope they get it right this time as IIRC with either GT3 or GT4 they claimed it was a 2+2 but the filler cap was clearly on the inside of the rear axle! i dread to think how many skylines there'll be in this one! lol

the head developer of the game has just released the official car count: over 950 :bow: :bow: fook me!

the full review has now appeared in OPM mag (about 3 months late :slap: )

the car count is still climbing and is unofficially expected to hit 4 figures :eek:

Lambos and Bugattis

Weight transfer conveyed through the DualShock 3 (if you don't have a force-feedback wheel)

PSEye camera can track the movement of your head and look around the cockpit of the car you're driving!

Dynamic weather

Night racing for any track

 

 

...but I'm still dreading the terrible sound effects and lack of sense of speed and danger that other driving games manage to convey so well

all sounds amazing but it all comes down to the dam game play.

 

On the psp its far more playable than the demos and prologue :huh:

i dont care how many cars the game has, if none of them drive right and have no sence of speed, i will not be buying this game till i have played it first

on the nissan GT demo it was utter ****. so unrealistic it was stupid

 

But in arcade mode it was alright. not the best but well worth a play :)

^ agreed - the review reckons the cars wont understeer as much as they have been (eg. prologue and that GT monstrosity) but we shall wait and see!

lol...what was that games years back that was so hyped up but never released,,duke nuke em follow up?..i cant remember....i would of bought a playstation just for this game....

it will get great reviews even if its crap look at GTA AND mw2 both not as good as they are made out to be, and i dont see any reviewers slating this game
