I sent him a PM last Sunday, he opened it on Monday, then stayed on for another 3 hours, then not been on-line since! It was a nice polite request for information regarding an item I bought off him before he went on holiday..... He hasn't responded!

I have now applied to Paypal for his address and will be issuing a County Court Summons to recover the money. If he does not pay I will send in the bailiffs or get an attachement of earnings.

Haven`t had mine either, p.m`d him today. If this member is indeed ripping us other members off, for what i`d imagine is not an unconsiderable sum, maybe the club as a whole should take thr required legal action to help prevent this sort of thing happening and have it as part of club membership rules. This club should already have his details on record. If the club is not willing than i suggest us members concerned, pool together to resolve the matter one way or another. I`m hoping Scott has a very good reason for the grief he`s causing.

he came back from his holiday on monday as far as im aware, im getting a wiper motor from him my mate was picking it up for me during the week il see if he got it or not and let you guys know

yeh i bought a set of wheels from him and he seemed a genuine guy, he does have alot on,family, daughter etc so hopefully he'll sort you guys out asap

We have to be carefull with this, and not let it get out of hand without any good reason!

The appropriote course of action would be to bring it up with the clubs TLO, which is currently znut (Brian Jones)

At the end of the day Scott was very good to me and delivered on time, all I'm interested in is a follow up to the item I purchased from him, which he was dealing with.

I would hate to see this turn into some sort of witch-hunt unnecessarily!!!!

i bought £300 worth of stuff from him and got deliver the fallowing week.

maybe something major happend, someone here is bound to have his number?

during his holiday period i was contacted by a member who had not recieved an item and i responded with trying to make contact with him..then he returned from holiday and said he was sorry and would catch up with his parcels..this seems to have not happened:(.I will try to contact him and see whats going on,either way this sort of trading from members is not good:nono:

Agree with Znut, I can understand having family issues, maybe Scott isn`t aware how it makes the rest of us feel, trust in people and more so, any dealing through the club is put into question,in general, 300zx.co.uk has a family spirit and these things upset that & pulls the whole club down. I really hope this is resolved swiftly. As an added point to that, if you have probs Scott ,feel free to get em of your chest, you`d be suprised at the support people here offer each other. Sayin that..give me my stuff... lol

Just to add to this, I got an e-mail from him on the 29th of May (Friday), apoligising for the delay, and that he was sending the items I have paid for the next day (Saturday).. They still haven't materialised a week on.. I Hope this gets resolved for all of us soon guys...

Sounds familiar, said he`d left the parcels with a friend who`d failed to post in his absence and would post them. There was an registered member who said he had contact details i seem to recall.

this was the main reason that regi users aint permitted to sell on these forums, although we dont have the legal clout to take subbed members to court and so on and that its buyer beware, we do hope that subbed members have the decency to honour the buyers that have purchased items from them, we do try our best to get things resolved with those that dont but unfortunately we aint always 100% succsesful (although 100% is always given to try and sort it), if we let all kinds of regi users sell, i would imagine we would have lots of these probs and not just a few isolated ones

but on another note, maybe clownpants is having difficulty sending the items out, he may have a genuine reason and i for one hope it aint a too serious problem, even so-he should atleast explain his actions via email or pm to the parties concerned, after all, monies have changed hands and it can get very costly when bailiffs and courts are concerned

hope everyone (including clownpants) gets a nice easy speedy solution to this situation

p.s, i know brian (Znut) is doing everything in his powers (in his spare time i may add) to get this problem solved

you still aint got the item bud:eek::mad::nono:

Nope, not yet Brian. He did say he had went on holiday & left the items with a friend who was going to post as Santa previously mentioned, but still to no avail.. I appreciate everything you & the club are doing to help us with this matter though :)

can i just add also allan that i have closed his selling threads untill he contacts me and starts resolving his outstanding issues

I'm not affected by this, I'm a new boy but I have to say the general feeling of the site is very trustworthy and helpful. Hope it's a genuine reason and nothing's happened to the guy.

it has happened in the past as a one off, but its deffo not a regular occurence, as said our tlo is doing everything he can and normally things get sorted, its a bit like ebay, you have lots of genuine sellers who want nothing more than to satisfy their customer, and then you get one or two rip off merchant's

i dont think clownpants is a rip off merchant, i think he has just maybe bitten off more than he can chew regards to breaking a car, im sure he will sort it out

He pm'd me las Friday stating the same reason about leaving my parcel with a friend who had not posted it and promised to send it out next day (saturday) needless to say I have not received it. If someone has his address as they have collected stuff from him then I would very much like it. I smell a rat here as it sounds very familiar.

I get the feeling that the holiday was bogus as well. This was just to give him time to transfer the money from Paypal to his bank account. Should we not inform the Police as it is obvious fraud.

im not too sure on the legalities of these situations so im not sure if the police should be informed or not???????

but as said Znut is liasoning with certain parties trying to resolve the situation

I broke a car, sold parts on here, ebay etc. It honestly is a nightmare. No excuse for not keeping people up to speed with whats happening with their parts/hard earned cash. Hopefully all will be resolved asap.

Cheers John
