Following a flurry of 'cleaned my car' threads, I thought I would share the first stage of detailing my car; Wet, foam, rinse, wash, dry, and the finish achieved.

Got chance yesterday to claybar, 2 stage polish and seal the paintwork yesterday. Thought I'd upload a pic of the bonnet vent as the curves show off the 'wet' effect even under clouds.

Also, what do people think to the black headlight panel? I bought it to have it sprayed uniform but quite like it black...

Quite like the black nose panel TBH. Works better with cars with stock bumpers as the line around the bottom of the headlights and the leading edge of the top of the bumper follows the line a bit better.

Very shiny, the nose panel looks ok in black, it flows with the headlights, would be nice to see a photoshop with it red aswell.

Si - I know what you mean. I think the only thing that detracts from the 'flow' are the circular fog lights (That I don't like or use)

Gary - Thanks alot :) It took a good 4hours and a lovely vest shaped sun burn.

AC - I would as well but the most sophisticated graphics package I have on my PC is MS_Paint... ha

Car looks great mate, would'nt mind seeing some more pics

not sure on the black nose panel though

Chris :)

Very nice mate but you seem to have a dude stuck in the paintwork :)

Naaa that can't be a dude, he has pink shoes on:p
