hi just put new hard pipes and dump valves on car. thing is im getting no whoosh there. i have a suction vaccum ,i can feel it with my finger.

i removed pipe from recirulatining valve and it was whooshing out of there on both, so i thought id block these up with a piece of broom handle and then hopefully get the pressure at the top but nothing still. the car is now running like a bag of crap. please can anyone help.

Maybe your valves need adjusting?

Mine came with washers to pack the spring out so they open at different pressures, some have adjustment screws.

More washers the tighter the spring. You may have a boost leak some where.

Yeah I meant they might need some removing so they open earlier.

Could be a leak yeah.

hi chris thanks for info are your valves on hatrd pipes or are they fitted below on original recirculating valves

Mine are in place of the recircs like that Apexi fitting guide.

Should still be able to work out what's what though.

Will have a look now and post back in a few mins.

You should have 2 large holes where you took the recirc valve out.

Both of these need blocking off tightly so there's no leak.

The small vacuum line off the recirc valve is then just moved or extended up to the top of your new dump valve.

If it runs a bit rough or revs drop/stalls when coming to a halt you need to tighten up the valves when you've done.
